This privacy policy governs the website Live Life and Grow Coaching and informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our services and the choices you have associated with your data.

We currently collect and process the following information:

• General information about your personal and professional activities

• Information that is specific to your coaching goals and your desired outcomes and progress in relation to these goals

The following personal data is classed as Special category data under the GDPR and UK Data Protection Act 2018

• details about your ethnic or racial origin,

• political opinions,

• religious or philosophical beliefs,

• trade union membership

• genetic or biometric data,

• sexual orientation and sex life

• Medical and health data (including mental health)

As a coach, I do not specifically request any of this special category personal data from you, but you may choose to share this type of information with me during our coaching sessions.

When appropriate, I may take notes of the information you have shared provided it is relevant within our coaching agreement and the goals that you are working towards.  

If you decide to share special category personal data with me during a coaching session, it is with your explicit consent. 

Website information

Website usage information is collected using cookies. This website uses Google Analytics to track various metrics such as user and website visits. The maximum time this data is held is one year and managed by Google.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you either on the website or during our coaching sessions. The data is processed for one of the following reasons:

• To provide details to support the provision of coaching services and products.

• To understand and improve our services and products.

• To communicate with you and allow marketing of our coaching services and products.

• To respond to your requests via your questions or comments.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored. Contact data which comprises name, email and telephone number is held on the www.livelifeandgrowcoaching.com contact management system which is password protected. Your data will persist on this system while you are engaged with coaching products and services or have subscribed to our emails from us. You can opt out of receiving emails at anytime. Please contact georgiebrightwell@livelifeandgrowcoaching.com if you wish to opt out. 

Other information such as emails, notes or recordings of our coaching conversations are also securely stored either on devices which are password protected or on LIVE LIFE AND GROW | COACHING premises. 

No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

We keep financial records that contain basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for the legally required time period in the UK which is a minimum 6 years. The information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. Coaching session information may be kept for the purposes of the duration of our contractual coaching engagement plus one year if required to support ongoing coaching development. We will then dispose your information by deleting any data held on mobile devices, laptops, and securely shredding anything held on paper.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
